Career Connections offer practical ways for teachers, school counselors, families and community members to show students, as early as kindergarten, the types of careers possible for them. Career Connections are designed to support the whole child through intentional career advising practices. During this one-day event, presentations on career advising in middle school, leveraging business advisory councils, building financial literacy and entrepreneurial mindset, and the development of high quality work-based learning in your school will be provided. You will leave with innovative ideas and resources for kicking off the school year!

Josh Compton has spent the last twenty years as a results-oriented, dynamic operations leader with proven expertise in building teams, driving revenues, controlling costs, and maximizing profits in DC, supply chain, and logistics operations across several industries and business segments. Identify critical paths and develop effective strategies to optimize productivity, standardize tools, develop KPIs, and grow revenue.
Josh has realized that his accomplishments in life have all been the result of having a diverse, inclusive and value driven individuals surrounding him. He plans to spend the next twenty plus years of his career helping others recognize their own talents, build strong equitable ecosystems and inspire them to achieve greater heights.
